Soil

The vineyards are located at the top of the hills that embrace San Venanzio in Fossombrone. The soil composition is medium heavy with a calcareous tendency. The plantations are at an altitude between 300 and 500 meters above sea level, with a south, south-west exposure. The training system is a simple guyot with a density of 5500 vines per hectare.

Harvest

The 2014 vintage is characterized by an autumn and winter that were not too cold with moderate rainfall, and a cool summer with abundant precipitation except for August, which was decidedly dry.
The harvest begins on August 20, with an average yield per hectare of 6400 kilograms of grapes, equivalent to 4350 liters of wine. (Wine yield 68%).
